Chestnut Consultants and Contractors is a hands-on firm based in San Diego. We started with a direct and honest approach, wanting to give our customer's something no other company was willing to do. "Complete transparency"  We walk you through a complete package from design concepts to the completion of your project. Our customers like that we see them as our most important referral resource, and we work diligently to ensure complete costumer satisfaction. 

Andrew once dreamed of running his own construction company. He began designing and building tree houses at a young age and eventually developed that  passion to include personalized wood workings. Following his natural talent, he attended college for a drafting degree, to further his career. After 45 years in the construction business, he is able to navigate rough waters with confidence, and that puts his customers at ease. Making difficult jobs, run smoothly while putting a smile on their face.

Andrew oversees the concept to creation of each and every project. He gives his customers something no other contractor does. insight, he has worked every trade in the business. which gives him the ability to put a project together months ahead of time. Time schedules, payment plans, time line sheets,His customers are handed a job performance book. Which shows a time line for the project. So they know when it will get started, and the date the project is going to be completed, with all their sub's start and end dates. If the customer wants, they can run their own project. Just by following their book, and save themselves all the headaches of scheduling, payments, Sub's info, etc. It's all in their book.

Custom gun cases, or boxes. I build to fit each and every gun. No two boxes alike, each with there own one of a kind design. hand crafted Cravings if desired.  Great for airway travel, each case comes with hasp's and locks. This is for the gun collector, that wants it all. Andrew is married with two adult children one grand child, two children still living at home, along with Cleopatra the cat.

Even in his off time you can find Andrew working away on one of his many hobbies. Custom wood boats are a love of his. He is presently working on a 24' V-hull . He finished the prints and the ribs are in the undertaking.
